JOB OPPORTUNITY DIRECTOR OF INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENGINEERING Full-time position The City of Clarence-Rockland is undergoing some organizational changes in order to better serve its residents. A new position of Director of Infrastruc- ture and Engineering has been established to man- age all public works and utilities operations and construction under the direction of the Chief Admin- istrative Officer. We are looking for a team builder who can lead a group of dedicated employees. The candidate is an engineer with experience at the municipal level. The City of Clarence-Rockland and the Recreational Trails Advisory Committee are currently conducting a review of the city bike paths circuit which was established in 1998. The Advisory Committee was established in 2010 and is the official voice of public opinion in the decision making process. It is responsible for making appropriate recommendations to Municipal Council on behalf of the municipality’s residents. Much work has been done by the committee and now is the time to present the proposed circuit to the population. Residents are invited to comment on this circuit before the final presentation to city Council Members for adoption. Please note that the Municipal Council of the City of Clarence-Rockland adopted a By-law to establish user fees for the commissioning of certain types of documents. Effective June 1st, 2012, there will be a fee of $20.00 per document for the commissioning of any document, except for municipal documents and residency verification for pension purposes which will remain free of charge. Un nouveau poste de Directeur de l’Infrastructure et d’Ingénierie a été créé afin de gérer les travaux publics et les opérations et constructions des utilités publiques sous la direction du Directeur général. Nous sommes à la recherche d’un leader pour gérer une équipe d’employés dévoués. Le candidat est un ingénieur avec de l’expérience au niveau municipal. Le comité consultatif a été créé en 2010 et est le porte-parole officiel de l’opinion publique dans le processus décisionnel. Il est chargé de faire des recommandations pertinentes au Conseil municipal au nom des résidents de la municipalité. Beaucoup de travail a été accompli par le comité et c’est maintenant le temps de présenter le circuit proposé à la population.
