Kraj juna rezervisan je za jedan od najuticajnijih festivala na sve- tu. „Glastonberi“, koji se ove godine održava od 25. do 29. juna u engleskom Somersetu, nedaleko od Londona, zapravo je više od festivala – to je paralelni univerzum u kojem muzika, umetnost i aktivizam postoje u isto vreme. Lajnap predvode „Coldplay“, SZA i Dua Lipa, ali prava vrednost „Glastonberija“ leži u onome izme- đu: manjim binama, improvizovanim performansima i osećaju da se nalazite u gradu koji postoji samo pet dana godišnje. Blato je deo iskustva, kao i dugačke šetnje između bina, ali upravo ta ne- udobnost daje Festivalu autentičnost. Late June is reserved for one of the world’s most influential festivals: Glastonbury, which this ye- ar takes place from 25 th to 29 th June in its tra- ditional spot in the English county of Somer- set, which isn’t far from London. More than a festival, Glastonbury is actually a parallel uni- verse where music, art and activism exist si- multaneously. This year’s lineup is headlined by Coldplay, SZA and Dua Lipa, but Glastonbury’s real value lies in what’s in between: smaller sta- ges, impromptu performances and the feeling like you’re in a city that only exists for five days a year. Mud is an integral part of the experience, as are long trudges between stages. However, it’s this very discomfort that gives the festival its authenticity. London is a natural base for this trip – as a city that offers all the contrast of ur- ban luxury and history before you immerse yo- urself in the chaotic freedom of Glastonbury.
