Pokrenut početkom sedamdesetih od strane dva srednjoškolca, današnji „Roskilde“ je naj- veći festival u severnoj Evropi. Održava se to- kom osam dana i dva vikenda (od 27. juna do 4. jula ove godine), a ugostio je do sada vi- še od 150 bendova. Ko svira ove godine? „Go- rillaz, „The Cure“, Adison Rej, „Kneecap“, Lili Alen, tek su neki od izvođača. Takođe, „Roski- lde“ ponosno ostaje neprofitna organizacija koja svake godine donira milione danskih kru- na raznim dobrotvornim organizacijama. Ako vam vreme dozvoli, posetite dok ste ovde i ka- tedralu koja je na listi Uneskoa. Launched by two high school students back in the early 1970s, today’s Roskilde Festival is the biggest event of its kind anywhere in Northern Europe. Held over the course of eight days and two weekends (this year from 27 th June to 4 th Ju- ly), it has to date hosted more than 150 bands. And who’s performing this year? Gorillaz, The Cure, Addison Rae, Kneecap and Lily Allen, to name just a few... The Roskilde Festival is also proud that it remains a non-profit organisation that donates to various charities each year. Whi- le you’re in the city you should make time to vi- sit the UNESCO-World Heritage site that is Ro- skilde Cathedral.
