Hubs of hopes gears up for second edition

Counties budget revisions The United Counties of Prescott-Russell council (UCPR) approved a recommendation from its finance and administration depart- ments for revisions to the 2015 budget. The revisions deal with changes to spending prio- rities for roads, policing and other programs and services. The revisions will not change the budget total calculated for this year or the property tax rate already set. – Gregg Chamberlain !e United Counties of Prescott-Russell and the Canadian Cancer Society’s local community o"ce, representing the coun- ties of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry and Prescott-Russell, is gearing up for its sec- ond edition of Hubs of Hope , a cycling/ walking/running event on the Prescott- Russell Recreational Trail. !e event will take place on Saturday, September 26. –Annie Lafortune
