To the point! Knife safety

PCSO WORKSHOP Year 6 pupils at Abbey took a stand against knife crime, joining a special project aimed at educating youngsters about the dangers of carrying blades! Following the success of a similar project in Bloxwich, Abbey School has partnered with local police to empower its students to make sensible choices. "We need to change attitudes and discourage children from carrying knives," said PC Ware. "By empowering them with knowledge, it helps them cope in challenging situations." The initiative aims to reduce knife crime by educating children about the dangers of carrying knives and the consequences of using them. If successful, the project could be rolled out to other schools in the area! Abbey School pupils are proving that even the youngest members of the community can make a difference in the fight against crime!
