GRADED Congratulations to Lulu and Edie who achieved their yellow belts at their first karate grading. Both of them passed with a B+. They train every week at the aquatics centre and their sensei is really pleased with how hard they work.

Thanks to Lulu and Edie’s mums for the story.

[Ed - fantastic work - a great achievement]

THEATRE TRIP On Monday 22nd January, Beth went to the London Premiere of The Chosen Season 4 where she met some of the actors on the red carpet. She is pictured above with Noah James and Paras Patel who play the disciples Andrew and Matthew. Thanks to Beth’s mum for the story INSPIRED SEWING. A few weeks ago all children from year 3 had a beautiful sewing workshop. They designed and stitched their own superhero capes, using a running stitch and learned how to chain stitch. Adelina went home so inspired, she wanted to sew again. She made this little bunny herself. I would like to thank the teacher and school for the inspiration you have given to the children. These days it is not easy to keep a child's attention on something for too long. It means that something wonderful has been done, that when the child comes home, she wants to keep going. Even forgetting to play Roblox! Adelina also visits the Latvian school, where I myself teach lessons for children. We will definitely repeat that sewing lesson here as well. Thanks to Adelina’s mum for the story. [Ed - Really good to hear you enjoyed so much to carry on at home!]
