LA BOLA NEGRA (THE BLACK BALL) – JAVIER CALVO AND JAVIER AMBROSSI One of the year’s most notable Spanish films, which included Pedro Almodóvar among its producers, brings a cinematic tribute to poet and playwright Federico García Lorca. Through a story that con- nects different destinies and historical moments, its directorial tandem of Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi explores identi- ty, desire, belonging and that which soci- ety tries to suppress. The film has already attracted great attention from Spanish audiences and this Belgrade screening will provide an opportunity for Serbian film lovers to get acquainted with one of the most popular creations of the current fes- tival season.
Jedan od najzapaženijih španskih fil- mova godine, sa Pedrom Almodova- rom među producentima, donosi filmski omaž pesniku i dramskom piscu Fede- riku Garsiji Lorki. Autorski tandem Havi- jer Kalvo i Havijer Ambrosi, kroz priču ko- ja povezuje različite sudbine i istorijske trenutke, istražuje identitet, želju, pri- padanje i ono što društvo pokušava da potisne. Film je već privukao veliku pa- žnju španske publike, a beogradska pro- jekcija pruža priliku da se upozna jedno od najzvučnijih ostvarenja aktuelne fe- stivalske sezone.
„3 nedelje posle“ Miroslav Terzić Tri nedelje nakon tragične smrti školskog druga grupa srednjoš- kolaca odlazi na ranije planiranu ekskurziju. Putovanje koje bi tre- balo da ih vrati svakodnevici po- staje suočavanje sa vršnjačkim nasiljem, ćutanjem, odgovornoš- ću i kolektivnom krivicom. Inspi- risan stvarnim događajima, film Miroslava Terzića postavlja pita- nje koje prevazilazi okvire jedne generacije: šta se događa kada tragedija prođe, a društvo tek treba da se suoči sa sopstve- nim propustima? Film je na Pul- skom filmskom festivalu osvojio tri „Zlatne arene“.

Three weeks after the tragic death of their classmate, a group of high school students go on a previously planned field trip. The journey that should bring them back to everyday reality turns in- to a confrontation with peer-on- peer violence, silence, responsi- bility and collective guilt. Inspired by real events, Miroslav Terzić’s film poses a question that tran- scends the boundaries of a gen- eration: what happens when trag- edy passes and society has yet to face its own failings? The film won three Golden Arenas at the Pula Film Festival.

U ovom filmu argentinske foto- grafkinje i rediteljke Alesandre Sanguineti, više od dve decenije kamera prati dve ne- razdvojne rođake, Gijerminu i Belindu, dok odrastaju u argentinskoj Pampi. Dečje igre, zajednički dani i prvi snovi postepeno ustu- paju mesto ljubavi, porodici i životnim pute- vima koji ih razdvajaju. Film postaje intimno promišljanje o protoku vremena i načinu na koji se ljudi menjaju, dok sećanja na zajed- ničko detinjstvo ostaju sa njima.
THE ILLUSION OF AN EVERLASTING SUMMER – ALESSANDRA SANGUINETTI How much does a life change while we try to preserve the memory of a carefree childhood? In this film by Argentine pho- tographer and filmmaker Alessandra San- guinetti, the camera spends more than two decades following the lives of two insepa- rable cousins as they grow up in the Argen- tine Pampas. Their children’s games, days spent together and first dreams gradually give way to love, family and life paths that separate them. The film becomes an inti- mate reflection on the passage of time and the way people change, while memories of their shared childhood remain with them.
