ORPS FMCA CHAPTER Over 150 owners and guests attended a lecture sponsored by FMCA Outdoor Resort Palm Springs chapter. D R . N AOTO H ASHIMOTO discussed regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy. The lecture was informative and inspiring. FMCA ORPS RALLY MARCH 5 – 7, 2019 Your ORPS FMCA celebrated our time together for Spring 2019 at Outdoor Resort PS. The three-day rally was filled with fun activities for everyone. Evening of the 5 th was a “meet & greet” Happy Hour at La Palma. This was a nice ice breaker for folks who are new to FMCA at ORPS. We had a fun and successful 5-k walk/run with our fur babies. 90 participants came out to support our fundraiser. Fun prizes for best hat and best dressed dog were awarded. We also had a 50/50 cash prize giveaway.
The health and fitness Fair was a great success. We had 29 vendors provide and share their services with over 395 people attending . Several prizes were donated and given away
during the 3 hour event. The blood mobile was open during the fair from 9-1 and had several people donate. A great success all the way around. Ladies’ Luncheon on March 13,
the morning 18 hole Golf Tournament. Handicaps notwithstanding, everyone had fun. Some even won a few dollars. On the afternoon of the 6 th your new
sponsored by C HAVALLA L OPEZ -B ASSHAM , offered a spring theme with fresh flowers. Health speaker T IFFANAY D ALTON offered wisdom on detoxing the body. A fresh greens/fruit salad was the main entrée, along with strawberries/pineapple/cream for dessert was the meal offered by Bella Roma. All fresh and healthy.
local chapter FMCA Vice President J EFF B UCHMAN presented the Rally Seminar at La Palma to 30+ Rally attendees. This, not new type of cooking, has become very affordable. Your machine shrink-wrapped vegetables or meat is cooked in warm-to-hot water depending on recipes and your quantities. We all got a taste of chicken, Tri-Tip beef and carrots prepared earlier in the morning. Simple “Zip-Lock” type bags work almost as well. You probably already have the big container for water. All you need is the very small Sous Vide device which can be purchased for under $100.

Midday of the 7 th we played pickleball mostly in the “fun” platform. Anyone who wanted to join in could, and handicaps
notwithstanding. No injuries we reported and it was a beautiful day to play.
