11 1915 Cracker Jack #103 Joe Jackson - PSA AUTHENTIC At a time when the 1914 and 1915 Cracker Jack issues are subject to incredible demand, the 1915 Joe Jackson stands out as one of the issue’s key cards. Jackson, one of baseball’s most popular and enduring names, leads the way in a set that is loaded with stars and Hall of Famers; his card is one of the issue’s most desirable. This is also one of the most sought-after cards of Jackson himself, partially due to the beauty of Cracker Jack cards and partially due to the card’s relative affordability in comparison with Jackson’s other attractive issues such as the T210, Boston Garter or even the 1914 Cracker Jack counterpart. This is an exceptional example, clean and crisp with a bright, clear image and uniform, cream-colored borders. Initially appearing as an EX condition card, a closer inspection reveals what appears to be a slice at the top border, the slice subsequently having been reattached. The restoration is done expertly, in a way that reveals itself without appearing a deceptive alteration, but still maintains the card’s stunning visual appeal.
