Avid fishermen gathered in Russell, from May 10 to May 12, in order to take part in the 20 th annual Poutmaster fishing derby. “This is the most participants we’ve ever had,” said Russell Kin Club president and DIBJSGPSUIFFWFOU %PVH"OUIPOZ PO.BZ 12, in front of over 75 people. “Last year, we had 271 and this year we have 337.” The derby is organized as a fundraiser for the Russell Kin Club, which in turn donates

announcement of winners. The latter high- lights all the hard work that has been and continues to be done by several residents and local businesses. In addition to the various prizes offered to participants, Club Kin also took the time to give a carnation to each mother present at the event.
