In this course, participants will explore the purpose of IEP documentation and note-taking, providing strategies to effectively create legally defensible IEP notes that accurately reflect meeting discussions. In this session, attendees will learn how to address various parental concerns and how to respond, how to address non-participation, and how to capture the team’s considerations of issues potentially leading to due process. Attendees will get access to a note taking template.
