How much time do you spend there and do you manage to breathe in the scent of the sea at least a little throughout the entire year? “Not enough, to my misfortune, because through- out the year I don’t get to spend as much time on the island as I would like. However, I believe that in the years ahead I will make maximum use of all the bene- fits of Hvar. The mornings are the most beautiful there; the smell of the sea and the silence of the place, while the island still sleeps. And it is at its most beautiful in June and September, and that’s when I try the most to spend time there.” Which places on the Adriatic do you always return to and love in particular? Whether that’s due to some person you love, a concert you’ve had or something else... “I could list them endlessly for you. Trust me, there are so many places that I always return to and create new memories. Dubrovnik is one of them. For me it is an irresistible city that I’m linked to by many memo- ries. Then there are Kornati, Lošinj, Korčula, Vis, Brač. Lastovo is still a place of untouched beauty, like Mljet. And that’s without even mentioning Istria and Brijuni... Do you have a favourite beach? From the sands of Ada Bojana to the flat rocks of Is- tria, there are beaches to suit everyone’s taste... What do you like?
– Na moju žalost, premalo, jer tokom godine ne stignem da budem na ostrvu koliko bih želela. Ali u godinama koje dolaze verujem da ću maksimalno isko- ristiti sve dobrobiti Hvara. Tamo su najlepša jutra, mi- ris mora i tišina mesta, dok ostrvo još spava. A naj- lepše je u junu i septembru, tada se najviše trudim da tamo boravim. Kojim mestima na Jadranskom moru se uvek vraćate i posebno ih volite? Bilo zbog neke ljubavi, koncerta ili... – Mogla bih vam nabrajati unedogled. Verujte mi, postoji toliko mesta na koja se uvek vraćam i stvaram nove uspomene. Dubrovnik je jedno od njih. Za me- ne neodoljiv grad, veže me za mnogo uspomena. Za- tim Kornati, Lošinj, Korčula, Vis, Brač. Lastovo je još netaknuta lepota, kao i Mljet. A tek Istra i Brioni... Imate li omiljene plaže? Od peska Ade Bo- jane do kamenih ploča Istre, ima ih za sva- čiji ukus... Šta vi volite? – Volim usamljene plaže na kojima nema ljudi. Da budem na njima je moguće samo kad sam na brodu ili jedrilici. Onda stanem gde mi odgovara u zalivima, gde nema nikoga, a i more je tu najlepše. Zašto bi svako barem ponekad trebalo da izabere letovanje na Jadranskom moru? – Zato što zasigurno imamo najlepšu obalu na svetu! Od kopna do ostrva koji su jednako lepi.
