Ce n’est pas la première fois que le lutteur Grapecrusher Maloney se moque de Hawkesbury et des Hart Throbs, Jacques Lamoureux et Steven Levac. À quelques jours de leur combat à Brockville, Maloney a envoyé une flèche à Steven Levac, se moquant du spectacle de ce dernier au Déjà Vu, et disant qu’il allait plutôt faire équipe avec un vrai professionnel de la musique et de la lutte, le Honky Tonk Man, pour le gala de vendredi. Maloney et Levac se bagarrent depuis la bataille royale de Hawkesbury en 2014, où le Grapecrusher avait attaqué sournoisement Levac par derrière. Le 14 août, les Hart Throbs feront équipe avec High Roller Rosenburg pour affronter Grapecrusher, Brian Briggs et le Honky Tonk Man. La nouvelle Association de hockey mineur de Prescott- Russell Est a dévoilé le logo et le nouveau nom pour les équipes qui remplaceront les Hawks et les Cougars sur la patinoire à l’automne. Dans l’esprit d’association, le nom de Fusion a été choisi par les administrateurs. C’est Xavier Lortie, un Hawk atome B la saison dernière, et Tristan Lortie, un Hawk pee-wee B, qui ont remporté le concours avec ce nom et leur logo. Une dernière journée d’inscription tardive aura lieu lundi prochain, le 17 août, de 18 à 20 h, au Complexe sportif Robert Hartley, en vue de la saison 2015-2016.
