We love the Krispy Kremes and flavored Rosa’s milk the O.F.C.C. (Old Farts Car Club) of Wasco provides for the Continental Breakfast, and we could have a great time in their “Host Club Pick,” Chuck Purdue’s real flamed ’67 Chevrolet Camaro.
Watson’s StreetWorks sponsors the “Fantastic Flames & Super Scallops” Streets of Rods, and they loved Jon Scott’s ’33 Ford Alloway Speedstar from Dana Point, CA, with 600-horse Chevy 454 power, an Alloway chassis with a Heidt’s IFS, 17/20-inch Billet Specialties wheels, super cool 3D flames, and a tan leather TMI interior.
You don’t see many super nice ’46 Ford pickups, but John Braun out of Cambria, CA, built the crap out of his with a 600-plus horse LS3 spinning a 6L85E six-speed automatic, a Corvette grille, frenched headlights, and too cool gray paint.
