Show and Tell with Lifestyle-Focused Content

Post about the perks, but keep it classy. “Loving my Everest Never thought I’d be able to afford a new car!” “Just checked into our room at the JWMarriott Resort—can’t believe the views!”

Your Facebook wall, Instagram feed, or Pinterest board isn’t the place to make sales pitches or even invitations for Melaleuca Overviews. Instead, show people a better, happier, healthier lifestyle. Post pictures or tell stories about going on a excursion with your primary school-age child, taking a family holidays, paying off your credit card, or doing something you wouldn’t be doing without Melaleuca. Paint the picture and let them come to you.

Post a summary of Melaleuca: An Overview or issue a call to action.

DON’T:

“I work for a wellness company that carries over 500 products. Our company is 30 years old and can provide you with residual income. Our CEO’s name rhymes with Hank.” “Here are the benefits of being a Melaleuca Preferred Customer: A 30–50 percent discount and 500+ great products. Want to join?” Broadcast an obnoxious sales pitch on your public Facebook wall, public page, Twitter feed, or blog. “I’m going to help 5 people make $1,000 this month! Join now and get a Kindle Fire. Message me for details!” “Visit my website to learn about my cool new business opportunity! You deserve to make unlimited income while working from home! www.janesucceeds.com.” Post a sales pitch disguised as a lifestyle-focused post. “My company just gave me cash for a vacation! Message me for details!” [Posted with a vacation picture.] Post pictures of your check or income statements from your business report. “Wow—look how much money I earned in just nine weeks of doing this new business! If you want to make big money, send me a PM and we’ll get going.”

Post about the freedom you have as a result of your Melaleuca business.

DO:

“Here’s the view frommy home office.” [Posted with a picture.] “Spending the day at the lake. Couldn’t do this if I were working at an office, that’s for sure.” [Picture and tags for teammembers who are there with you.] “Life has been so much easier since I let go of my night job. Love coming home at 5 p.m. for a change!” Share how much you enjoy the work you do. “So excited to help our newest teammembers make positive changes in their lives! Helping women reach their goals!” “Love working from home and spending more time with my children! I am so fortunate to have found a way to ‘have my cake and eat it too.’ And as if that isn’t good enough, I can also help others do the same! Very cool! We have such a great team of motivated people. Earning a living shouldn’t be this much fun.” “I love my team! Such amazing women all on the wellness journey of a lifetime!” [Post a digital picture of you and your team at a team meeting or Convention.]
