Russell : l’eau et les égouts coûteront plus chers

Le budget de l’eau et des égouts représen- te donc unmontant de 4 900 178$, en terme de budget d’exploitation, et un montant de 120 000$, en immobilisations eau et égouts. Le budget alloué en eau et égouts est donc de 5 020 178$ pour l’année 2013.

initiatives to welcome new residents, expanding the Library’s role as a community information centre, expanding community content and programming, and developing stronger relationships with business. It also suggests networkingwithin the community to share information and facilitate joint efforts, enhancing communication and marketing, developing an effective liaison with the township, exploring innovative approaches to programming, and improving social media use. The plan, which is available on the library’s website (www.russellbiblio.com), includes ensuring all branches meet bilingual service commitments, developing the online presence, and preparing a facility master plan. Public consultations will be held Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m. at the Russell Branch Library (1053 Concession St.) (English session) and Tuesday, April 9, at 7 p.m. at the Embrun Branch Library (1215 St-Augustin) (French session). Pétition contre l’augmentation de la taxe d’eau et d’égouts
RUSSELL l The Township of Russell library board has released its draft strategic plan, and is seeking public input. The documents states Russell and Embrun branches total 7000 sq. ft., and have 50,000 visitors per year. About 60% of the population are library users. Circulation, visits and public participation have steadily increased over the past five years and most users report high levels of satisfaction. Embrun branch users reported lower satisfaction, due to the facility, which does not meet provincial standards, but in general the library is well used, supported and highly valued for its contribution to the social, economic and cultural vibrancy of the community. The plan suggests strategies to build greater library use, and to meet the expected needs of a growing community with a increasing diversity in a time of technological change. Plans include
