Crack, Lalonde endorse Pupatello

CASSELMAN | Glengarry-Prescott-Russell M.P.P. Grant Crack and former M.P.P. Jean- Marc Lalonde have endorsed former cabinet minister Sandra Pupatello in her bid to become the new leader of the Ontario Liberal Party. “I am encouraging everyone to support Sandra Pupatello because she understands what rural Ontario needs as we continue to move forward. She has a proven track record in job creation in rural communities and respects our unique cultural strengths in Glengarry-Prescott-Russell. Sandra will be a strong Premier for the people of our riding, and all of Ontario,” said Crack Tues- day, when Pupatello visited Casselman ear- lier this week. “I am extremely proud and excited to en- dorse Sandra for leader of our party and the next Premier of our great province. I had the great privilege to work alongside Sandra, to see her unmatched work ethic and strength of character, and her approach to serving the public that allows her to understand all corners of Ontario. She will lead the party to further success, and the province to a stron- ger economic future,” said LaLonde. In a release, Pupatello said that as Minis- ter for Economic Development and Trade, she was responsible for creating the Eastern Ontario Development Fund, which has cre- ated over 13,500 jobs in the region so far.
