The position will be called upon to perform a variety of duties in various production departments, from supervision to technical support. The candidate will plan production activities in order to insure that products are made as requested, and to the highest quality standards, and at times will supervise a team of unionized production employees in the everyday coordination and execution of production tasks. The candidate will be involved in identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and cost reduction projects throughout the facility, and will be the point person on Kaizen events and lean manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minimum of five years experience in a unionized manufacturing environment, with extensive supervisory experience. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and show a strong sense of autonomy, initiative, and leadership. Candidates must be fluent in both French and English.
