LOCAL SINGER BLENDS EXPERIENCE AND INFLUENCES IN TIRELESS PURSUIT OF PASSION AND THEN SOME Artist

“WE ALL GET IN THE STUDIO AND JUST VIBE.” - Cashe’ Mone’

“I can sing and rap on a song or I can make a whole R&B song,” she says. “I can make a slow jam, but I can also get on a club banger.” The extensive choral background shows up in the melodic delivery of her verses as much as it does in her soulful R&B grooves. She’s more than just a singer, more than just a rapper - to put it simply, she’s an artist. And as an artist, she carries a diverse catalog of solo work along with features and collaborations with her hip hop group MGM (Money Gang Maa).

Cashe’ Mone’ (Andrea Coleman) never leaves home without a notepad. She doesn’t know when fresh ideas will come to mind, but she is certain they will. They always do. “I’m always stopping mid conversation jotting down ideas, all the time - just bits and pieces of songs I can come back to later,” she says. This creative preoccupation is second nature to Mone’, who has cultivated her own brand of artistic versatility over the course of her life, the majority of which she spent as a choir singer.
