12 th Annual Greenwich Gala Honoring those we lost on September 11, 2001
Children of Fallen Patriots raised over $3.3 million to sup- port the college education of Gold Star children at the 12th Annual Greenwich Gala which will cover more than 508 years of college for Fallen Patriots scholars. On No- vember 6, 2021, more than 500 people gathered at the Riverside Yacht Club in Greenwich to honor Gold Star families and the courageous servicemen and service- women who have fallen defending the United States. To mark this year’s 2021 Patriot Award, Lieutenant General
Andrew P. Poppas, Director of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was honored for his exceptional military career and de- votion to the safety and freedom of America. Featured student speaker Caitlin Rowe shared her family’s story about her father Marine Corps Major Alan Rowe, who was killed in action in 2004 while serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom and shared how the foundation has im- pacted her life.
