• NSBE support and resources has helped me graduate from undergrad and graduate school as well as help me get internships and scholarships. • Been a member since College, and its provide value to me in every stage of my professional life. On the personal side, some of my best friends in life were established from NSBE. My children are benefiting as members today • As an advisor to a junior chapter for over 2 decades now, I can see how NSBE has impacted our students and our community in amazing ways. • It’s helped me get to where I am today • “The National Society of Black Engineers provides a platform for those often marginalized to come off as valuable and responsible. It affords one the opportunity to be impactful in one’s immediate society as well as harness resources (within & without) to become a better individual. • NSBE has my highest recommendation.” • I have seen how it benefited my when I was in College and now benefits my students now that I am a professor. • This organization has been invaluable to me, both in a professional and personal sense. I am currently pursuing my PhD because of an opportunity I got at a NSBE conference.
• NSBE has a solid mission and effects real positive change on the world. It’s a great resource for students and professionals alike. The most important parts of NSBE are its structure in developing leadership at the collegiate level, and its attention to the future through programs like SEEK and NSBE Jr. We have a solid plan to move forward to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact their communities. Its a motto that I’ve memorized and live by. • I love the mission, people, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. • Great opportunity for growth (socially and professionally)
