The three Black, White and Gold awards have set criteria to be met – reflecting House participation, academic endeavour, service, personal attributes, duty and responsibility – before they can be achieved. The Year 13 students played a major role in developing and actioning this awards programme and they are to be commended for their efforts. In particular, Will Chaffey and Thomas Graham have made a significant contribution, and both agree these awards are to be gained not just given out. This is their contribution to the House mantra “Good House to a Great House – Leaving a lasting legacy”. School House achieved some notable successes in the interhouse competition: Athletics Field Events Cup – 1st Senior golf – 1st Year 9 tug of war – 1st Rowing – 1st House Plays – 2nd

At the end of the year, we celebrated and farewelled our Year 13 leavers and their parents. Head of House Will Chaffey and his father, Sandy, gave outstanding speeches, highlighting their five years at College and in School House. At the end of the evening the boys in Years 9–12 performed a rousing College haka as a final farewell. It was an outstanding end to a great year in School House. Will C, Thomas, Charlie, Tim, Lachie, Edward, George H, George L, Ben, Sam, Tom, Homare, Will P, Caleb, Alex and Henry you have finally made it! Hopefully, you will look back on your years in the House with pride and satisfaction. Will and Thomas, you have led your peers and the House with compassion and empathy. Indeed, the entire Year 13 group demonstrated outstanding leadership in all House activities and in support of House staff. Gents, all the best on your marathon called life – and remember, it is a marathon, not a sprint. I hope you will take some very fond memories away. As a group, you have cemented some strong and lasting friendships, and I know you will use the skills you have gained at College to face the challenges you will meet in the “real world”. We wish you all the best for the future. Finally, I would like to thank the following for their contribution to

Athletics Sports – 2nd Senior hockey – 2nd Shooting – 2nd
