In يقول الفنان العالمي الإســــــباني الرائد بابلو بيكاسو في مقولته الشــــــهيرة: “الفن يمسح عن الروح غبار الحيــــــاة اليومية.” هذا على المســــــتوى الفردي؛ أمّا على مستوى الجماعات والمجتمعات والدول، وفي عالم تتشــــــابك فيه المسارات الثقافية والإنسانية، فيضطلــــــع مفهــــــوم التلاقــــــي والتقــــــارب عبر الفن التشــــــكيلي والوســــــائط المتعــــــددة - ثقافيًا كان أم جغرافيًا أو قائمًا على الســــــرديّات المشتركة - بدور محــــــوري في تشــــــكيل الهُوية. فالحــــــوار الثقافي يُعمّق الشــــــعور بالانتماء والاعتــــــزاز بالهويّات عبر التعبير الفنّي، فيما يُســــــهم التلاقي الجغرافي في بلورة الهويّات المحليّة وصوغ مشــــــاهد اجتماعية مشتركة. أمّا الســــــرديّات المتبادلة، فتصوغ ذاكرة جماعيّة توحّد المجتمعات وتغذّي الحراك الإبداعي، مؤكّــــــدة القــــــدرة التحويلية للســــــرد كأداة للتأثير والتواصل. ويُشــــــكّل استيعاب هذه الديناميكيات والتفاعــــــل الواعــــــي معهــــــا الأســــــاس الحقيقي لما يُعرف بالقوّة الناعمة: قوّة ترابط تُبنى عبر علاقات راسخة، تتجاوز منطق تبادل المصالح أو المقاربات الاستراتيجيّة الضيّقة. قوّة محرّكة للدبلوماسيّة الثقافية على مدى أكثر من ثلاثة عقود، أســــــهمت مجموعة أبوظبي للثقافة والفنون في إثراء الرؤية الثقافية لأبوظبــــــي والإمارات، وترجمــــــة توجيهات القيادة الرشيدة، وترســــــيخ هذه القوّة التي توحّد وتجمع عبر التبادل الفنّي، وتعزيز التعاون المؤسّسي العابر للقارات والحدود، ودعم الفنّانين الحاملين لرسالة الثقافة. ويتجسّد هذا الالتزام بصيغة معاصرة في معــــــرض “روافد ورُؤى”، الــــــذي تقدّمه المجموعة ) ضمن SeMA بالشــــــراكة مع متحف سيول للفنون ( فنانًا 47 فعاليــــــات مهرجان أبوظبي، ويضم أعمالا لـ مــــــن دولة الإمــــــارات العربية المتحــــــدة، ويُقام في . 2026 مارس 29 متحف سيول للفنون لغاية يبرهن المعــــــرض أهمية التبادل المتكافئ وقيمته، إضافــــــة إلى قــــــدرة الفــــــن على مد الجســــــور بين الهويّات والثقافات، من دون الســــــعي إلى محوها أو تهميشها. ومن خلال استكشاف أشكال التقارب المختلفة باعتبارها محرّكًا للتطوّر، يقدّم المعرض نموذجًا للدبلوماسية الثقافية يتجّسد عبر أصوات الفنّانيــــــن الإماراتييــــــن أنفســــــهم. وبذلك، يُســــــهم المعرض في توســــــيع آفاق التفاهم العالمي، ويُعيد تعريف جوهر القوّة الناعمة على أنّها بنية إنسانية قائمة على العلاقات، ترتكز إلى الحوار والتعاطف والخبرة المشتركة. عن أهميــــــة معرض “روافد ورُؤى” تقول ســــــعادة هدى إبراهيم الخميس، مؤسّس مجموعة أبوظبي للثقافة والفنون، والمؤسّس والمدير الفنّي لمهرجان أبوظبي: “يُســــــلّط معرض “روافد ورُؤى” الضوء، من خلال التصوير الفوتوغرافي والفيديو والرسم والنحــــــت والأداء والتركيب الفنّي، على أثر تلاقي الفكر الإبداعي المتطوّر والحوار الثقافي وتواصل الحضارات، ويُســــــهم، بالشــــــراكة مع متحف سيول للفنــــــون، في تعزيز التبــــــادل الثقافي بين الإمارات وكوريــــــا، كما يُعــــــزّز حضور فنّانــــــي الإمارات على الســــــاحة العالميّة، عاملا بعمق على تبادل المعرفة والوعي بمكانة الفنون في مســــــيرتنا نحو مستقبل In his famous quote, the pioneering Spanish artist and global icon Pablo Picasso says: “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” While this speaks to the individual experience, its impact extends far be- yond the personal, reaching communities, societies and even nations. In our interconnected world, the concept of proximity – cultural, geographic or our shared narratives – plays a cru- cial role in shaping identity. Cultural proximity fosters belonging through artistic expressions, while geograph- ic proximity influences local identities and hybrid soci- etal landscapes. Shared narratives create collective mem- ories that unite communities and inspire social move- ments, highlighting the transformative power of story- telling. Understanding and embracing these dynamics is the foundation of soft power: the connective force built patiently through long-term relationships, which ex- tend beyond transactional or purely strategic exchange. A DRIVING FORCE IN CULTURAL DIPLOMACY For more than three decades, the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation [ADMAF], following the vision of the country’s leadership, has strengthened this connective force through artistic exchange, cross-institutional col- laboration, and by supporting artists as cultural ambas- sadors. This commitment also finds a contemporary ex- pression in the Proximities exhibition, presented by AD- MAF in partnership with the Seoul Museum of Art [SeMA] as part of the Abu Dhabi Festival [ADF]. The ex- hibition brings together works by 47 UAE-based artists and is on view at SeMA until 29 March 2026. It demon- strates the power of mutual exchange and the capacity of art to bridge difference without erasing it. Through its exploration of how different forms of proximity ena- ble transformation, the exhibition presents a model of cultural diplomacy articulated through the voices of UAE artists themselves. In doing so, it contributes to global understanding and brings into focus what soft power truly represents: a relational, human infrastruc- ture built on the cornerstones of dialogue, empathy and shared experience.
