The partnership in- cludes the installation of SOMA equipment, including Esko, a global developer of integrated software and hardware solutions for the packaging, label and wide format sectors, plans the sale of its Kongsberg digital finishing business to OpenGate Capital, sub- ject to any applicable information and/or consul- tation with employee representative bodies under applicable local law. The planned sale includes the original research and development facility in Kongsberg, Norway and the production facility in Brno,Czech Republic.OpenGate Captial is a private equity firm headquartered in Los Angeles, California,with a European office in Paris and investments on five continents. Kongsberg was founded in Norway in 1965, and Esko (then Barco) purchased Kongsberg in 1998. The new Kongsberg PCS company would be led by Stuart Fox, future President of Kongsberg PCS. Resource Label is a portfolio company of First Atlan- tic Capital, a New York-based private investment firm, and TPG Growth, the middle market and growth equi- ty investment platform of TPG. Providing Solutions Founded in 1978, Labels West provides solutions for the wine, spirits, health and beauty, food and nutraceu- tical industries. With more than 40 years in the pack- aging industry, LabelsWest offers a diverse portfolio of capabilities including flexographic and digital printing, extended content, tamper evident and promotional la- bel solutions. Labels West represents the 17th acquisition for Re- source Label Group. This will be their second location inWashington state.
