ANGEL LANE FREIGHT LOOP & PLATFORM 10A EXTENSIONS, STRATFORD, OLYMPIC DELIVERY AUTHORITY, £3M, 45 WEEKS This project was to address operational restrictions by extending platform 10A and the existing loop east towards Maryland Station; enabling freight trains to be held clear of the Stratford Central Junction. Additionally creating a buffer at the end of the North London Line protecting services on the line.
As Network Rail’s Multi-Asset Framework Contractor, we delivered improvements to rail infrastructure in the south east region under this framework. Works involved a wide range of civil engineering packages from track and signalling projects to platform extensions and station redevelopment schemes.
