With 40 years in business and still developing skills for new and emerging energy-efficient technologies, judges felt this accolade was presented to a most deserving gentleman. Entries for this award are judged on a detailed presentation and how the individual has provided solutions to recent challenging domestic projects, completed within Ireland in the last two years. Judges presented each of our three plumbers of the year finalists with a package of the S.R 50 series of Standard Recommendations. Clever Energy Solutions provides top quality work and products. The company is a RGII registered gas installer, Flo Gas approved installer, and is a SEAI Grant Approved Contractor. The judging panel noted how it was very pleasurable to see that William’s use of high quality (certified) components will prove to be to the clients’ advantage. With such a focus on energy efficiency, William and his team, will benefit both the climate and the pocket.

C ongratulations to Heatvision for its victory in this category after celebrating one year in business in November of this year. Owner, Stephen Lambe came highly recommended, with his clients describing how he takes great pride in his work and is friendly and easy to deal with. Judges noted how customer satisfaction was evident and felt this is an exciting new start for Heatvision. In the application, owner Stephen Lambe, commented on how throughout the past year, some aspects of plumbing have changed for the better and that sustainability is one of the factors that’s now at the forefront of the company. The company’s portfolio now boasts boiler replacements and repairs, heating installations, kitchen gas and plumbing fit-outs, water treatment systems, heat pumps, underfloor heating and solar. Many glowing testimonials were accompanied with the application, commenting on how Stephen is well managed, well presented and takes pride in his work. In addition, Director of Siam Thai restaurants, Peter Flanagan commended the team for their attention to detail and workmanship for works carried out including full kitchen renovations, gas work and bathroom installations. This has led to the gas bills being considerably lower and the whole system being controlled, easier to use and more energy saving.
