This project was the first of its kind for the client, Dublin City Council, using prefab modular housing ‘rapid build’ complemented by the newest renewable heating and ventilation systems on the market. Judges expressed their delight noting that a strong working relationship, knowing the team and good communication skills had paid dividends. Effective tactics to operations and supply chain challenges caused by Brexit and Covid-19 were also acknowledged by the judges. T he second well-deserved achievement, Heatvision was placed as overall winner in this category for the excellent upgraded heating and hot water system at the Siam Thai Restaurant, Malahide. The team replaced the client’s 20-year- old boiler with a high-powered condensing heating system, as well as installing thermostatic valves on all radiators. The judges were thoroughly impressed by the planning and execution of this project, with the restaurant remaining live and functioning throughout the duration of the works. They were encouraged by Heatvision’s testimonials, and felt the pipework and equipment were of a superior quality.
