Tor Vergata: a Growing Global Campus in QS Rankings 2026

Tor Vergata University of Rome confirms its strong international appeal in the QS Rankings 2026, achieving top positions in Italy for international student presence and diversity at both global and European level. The University continues to consolidate its international profile, standing out among Italian institutions for its ability to attract and support a diverse global student community while fostering a multicultural and collaborative academic environment. In the QS World University Rankings 2026, Tor Vergata ranks second in Italy for both international student ratio and international diversity . It also places eighth overall nationally and 355th worldwide, entering the top ten Italian universities for the first time and positioning itself within the top quarter globally, a milestone that reflects the University’s growing influence on the international academic stage. The European perspective confirms this positive trend. In the QS Europe University Rankings 2026, published in January, Tor Vergata ranks third in Italy for both the number of international students and the diversity of their countries of origin, climbing an impressive 129 positions compared to the previous edition.
