HERO&S FIT FOR LIFE SERIES Cost: Free Age: 13 - 18 years Location: RCN

KARATE Cost: $50 (cash only) Age: 5 - 12 years Location: RCN / WEC Karate is a sport, a self-defense and a confidence builder. Participants must have a uniform which may be purchased from the instructor the first day of class for $30 cash. You may try the first lesson for free before you register to make sure you wish to participate in the class. New students are accepted the first three weeks. There will be NO registrations after the first three weeks of class and NO refunds. (Note: Additional fees may apply for tournament entry and for belt advancement tests. Tournaments are not required for the class but are required for belt advancement tests. Advancing in rank (belt color) is optional.) Tues., June 6 - Aug. 15, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. (RCN) Wed., June 7 - Aug. 6, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. (WEC) Participants will learn about nutrition (macro and micro nutrients), meal preparations, and understanding how food and energy is processed, used, and stored by the body. Participants will also learn about the importance of sleep, recovery, injury prevention and mobility & flexibility training. Upon completion of the course participants will develop a meal plan that is accessible and economically savvy. Participants will have the tools to develop a repair & recovery log to track how their body responds to various amounts of rest, supplementation and sleep. IDEA LAB - JR. CHEFS ACADEMY Cost: $175 resident / $218.75 non - resident

Age: 5 - 11 years Location: WEC

In the Storybook Adventures cooking class our budding chefs will learn about measurements, mixing techniques and great recipes. A recipe card follows each recipe so that our budding chefs can create their own recipe book. Each day follows a classic children’s storybook and yummy recipes related to them. Campers will jump from story to story, fairy tale to fairy tale discovering ways to cook magical recipes. Short stories and videos will be used to help tell the story of the enchanted recipes the campers will be cooking. In the Food Truck Concepts class, we will explore the culture of Food Trucks, and the huge growth of this type of fast food. Creativity is going to be the back bone of this specialty cooking class. Frito Pie, tacos, loaded fries, specialty desserts and more will be executed in this camp. Students will also explore creating their own Food Truck Concept
