LEADING DUAL LANGUAGE PROGRAMS FOR STUDENT SUCCESS
This interactive workshop equips school and district leaders with tools to design, strengthen, and sustain effective dual language programs. Guided by CAL’s Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education, participants will explore the seven research-based strands of effective dual language education and apply them to their own program contexts. Through collaborative activities, case studies, and strategic planning, leaders will deepen their understanding of how bilingualism, biliteracy, and sociocultural competence promote student achievement and global citizenship.
Time Commitment Leading Dual Language Programs for Student Success is delivered as a two- day workshop (15 hours of professional learning).
