The children had an adventurous and eventful day. Despite the rain, the children enjoyed spotting a variety of human and physical features on their walk. We were also able to put into use our Science knowledge of the five senses. The children appreciated listening to the birds tweeting; smelling the freshly cut grass alongside getting a glimpse into the nest of baby birds. After our hike around Warley Woods, the children found the best spot to enjoy their picnic – another item ticked off our Bucket List! We particularly liked using our sense of taste to devour an ice-cream, topped with sprinkles and sauce. Thanks to Miss. Vance for the story. JUBILEE Abbey came together to celebrate our Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The afternoon was marked with a tea party, singing and dancing. Well done your Majesty!
