SHINING BRIGHTLY

Emmett Crisp, from 6Y, will be taking part in a series of performances at the Crescent Theatre over the summer. He is part of ‘Stage2 Youth Theatre’ - a drama club for children aged 8-21 which is putting on a double bill at the Birmingham theatre. Emmett will be performing in ‘Status Update’ - a comedy about the things children learn and believe about the world. He is in the technical crew for Education, Education, Education, set in a school after Tony Blair had been elected PM. Tickets to the performances (Weds 3rd to Fri 5th of August) can booked at tinyurl.com/ 2ptxu37w Thanks to Emmett’s mum for the story. KICKING BACK "I won these medals at a Karate competition. I won bronze in Kata 9/12 year olds. The gold medal in Kata 8/9 years and the other gold medal in kick bag. It was an amazing day and I had been practising at home and in Warley Woods." Mrs Kaur is really proud of Isla’a achievements and isn't sure how she is able to stand up straight with the weight of those medals! Thanks to Mrs. Kaur for the story! [Ed- great work both of you! Isla is 7-8 and so winning above her age range!]
