The Hawkesbury Royal Canadian Legion Branch was honoured to have representatives of the Cercle des fermières de Chute-à-Blondeau at the Legion’s December 9 membership meeting. The Cercle des fermières presented the Legion with a $595 cheque to go towards the Poppy Fund, which assists local veterans and their families.
