Hawkesbury verront une légère augmentation des taxes municipales. La hausse, estimée à 1,20 %, est inférieure à celle du taux d’impôt sur le revenu fédéral, fixée à 1,9 % QPVS&OHSPT MJNQBDUQPVSMFTQSPQSJÊ - taires d’une propriété résidentielle moyenne (évaluée à 162 151 $) se résume à une BVHNFOUBUJPOEF ø&ODPNQBSBJTPO en 2018, la hausse des taxes municipales avait été en moyenne de 52 $. Cette hausse était toutefois relative, car elle suivait une baisse d’impôts fonciers en 2018. « Il s’agit ici de prévisions fondées sur les données de 2019, a expliqué Philippe Timbers, trésorier et principal architecte du budget. Il ne s’agit pas de chiffres définitifs. » Trois gros morceaux Au chapitre des installations municipales, trois dépenses se démarquent du lot. La plus importante est la mise à niveau du système de réfrigération de l’aréna du Centre sportif Robert-Hartley au cout de 1,7 million de
dollars. Celui-ci a déjà dû subir d’importants travaux en 2018. Autre dépense de plus d’un million de dollars : la mise à niveau du doseur de réactif de l’usine d’épuration des eaux, prévue en 2019, mais remise à cette année en raison du retard dans l’octroi d’une sub- WFOUJPO&OàO MFSFOGPSDFNFOUEVNVSEF soutènement du ruisseau de la rue McGill est évalué également à plus de 1 million de dollars de dollars. The committee of the whole mee- tings, if they are on the schedule, will still take place on Tuesday, the week before the regular council session. The scammer asks for personal infor- mation, including bank account and social insurance numbers. The OPP warn that they are not doing phone call surveys. MERIT AWARD Naomi Gadbois, a teacher at Pleasant Corners Public School in Vankleek Hill, is one of seven employees with the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) to be nominated for the 2019 UCDSB Director’s Award of Merit.
