Vecta Sensory Station User's Guide

VECTA Engagement Suggestions These are only suggestions and should not be taken as medical, therapeutic or educational advice for treatment or cure of any medical condition. Calmly and slowly, present the VECTA to the individual and ask if they would like you to turn it on. Remember that when plugging the VECTA in, all the equipment will turn on at the same time and speeds may vary depending on the previous user. It is suggested that you turn the VECTA away from the individual's direct line of sight so not to startle them. Adjust the speed of the Bubble or Hurricane Tube to the individual's preference or need. Notice their reaction to the speed you choose and adjust until you reach the desired state. 1. Position the Projector image where it can easily be seen by the individual. Be aware of the angle of the lens so you do not shine it in the individuals eyes. It may be best to always unplug the power source of the projector (at the back of the projector) after using the VECTA. 2. Select the appropriate Projector Wheel and attach it to the magnetic rotator (small white box at the top of the projector-black magnetic wheel). 3. 4.Adjust the speed of the Projector to the individual's preference or desired state. Offer the Fiber Optic Spray to the individual. Allow them to manipulate the strands with their hands or feet. Lay strand on lap or around shoulders for weighted benefit. 5. 6.Offer the option of music, if appropriate.
