Dr. Rachel Kearns of Glasgow Royal Infirmary reviewed data from nearly 500,000 births over 13 years and found no increased risk associated with epidural use. The findings held true across a variety of birth circumstances, offering reassurance for expecting mothers weighing their pain-relief options.
