Faith Theological Seminary Faith T heological Seminary teaches the inerrancy of the Scriptures and builds all o f its courses around exegesis of the Bible in the original languages. Allan .A. MacRae is the President, and J. Oliver Busw ell is P rofessor o f Systematic The­ olog y and Apologetics. The A. B. degree, or its equivalent, w ith references, is re­ quired for e n t r a n c e . The Seminary’s courses lead to the B. D. degree fo r three years’ study, and to the S. T. M. degree fo r an additional year. In the past year, thirty-nine students w ere in attendance. The school is not coeducational, though a few qualified women are accepted under certain conditions. Lim ited credit is given at the Seminary for graduate w ork in T heology done elsewhere, according to circum stances. The teaching centers In the system of doctrine cpntained in the Scriptures and expounded in the historic W estm inster Confession o f Faith a n d Catechisms, and it stresses the prem ll­ lennial retujrn o f Christ, but the school is not connected w ith any particular denom ­ ination. The s c h o o l has just rounded out nine years of constructive training of young men and women for Christian work. W illiam T. W atson is the President. Complete courses o f Bible study are follow ed under the direction o f a strong facu lty o f eighteen members. Music and church secretarial courses also are featured. The spacious campus o f the school provides excellent recreational fa ­ cilities. The rates are. quoted as being reasonable; fuller inform ation is obtain­ able by sending fo r the Institute catalog. Grace Theological Seminary Grace Theological Seminary is located at W inona Lake, Ind., one o f the attrac­ tive conference grounds o f this country, and has a present enrollm ent o f thirty- three students. Its purpose is “ T o know Christ and make Him known as the only Saviour and Lord o f L ife,” with all of its courses centered around the study o f the Bibje as the very W ord of God. The Seminary’s three-year theologjcal curriculum leads to the Bachelor o f D ivin­ ity degree; the one-year Graduate cur­ riculum leads to the Master o f T heology degree; and the tw o-year Christian E du­ cation curriculum for pastors’ wives and women m issionaries leads to the degree o f Bachelor of Christian Education. Full credit is given fo r w ork taken at other standard sem inaries where academ ic re­ quirements are equal to those o f this school, but such credit is limited to tw o years for those w ork in g fpr the Bachelor .of D ivinity degree. Limited coeducational privileges are ex­ tended to pastors’ wives and women m is­ sionaries. No tuition Is charged. Unusual recreational and cultural opportunities are offered, ow ing to the outdoor •en­ vironment o f the school and to the many conferences held at W inona Lake. Bay Cities Bible Institute Serving the San F rancisco Bay area, the Bay Cities Bible Institute, with a membership in the Evangelical Teacher T raining Association, offers -■accredited tw o-year and fou r-year courses of special interest to Christian w orkers preparing for Sunday-school adm inistration. The Institute’s courses are all built around the. whole W ord o f God. The school, founded in 1934, is coeducational, and Ivan C. F rickstad is the President. The genial, hom elike atmosphere perm its a -clo se fellow ship between students and faculty, commensurate with the present lim ited enrollm ent of tw en ty-five stu­ dents. The curriculum standard main­ tained warrants exchange of credits with sim ilar schools, and a diploma is awarded for approved completion of any prescribed course.
