housing and retaining community members in the Valley. If you are hesitant about taking this step, there are trusted services, like Front Porch’s Home Match program that connects community members seeking housing with older adults who have extra space in their homes. You can also engage in local community workshops to learn about housing challenges, find solutions, and meet your neighbors. This spring, the Community Center’s Elders Council hosted an excel- lent series of workshops on housing opportunities and solutions. I

am heartened watching the community and County come together to overcome these challenges. The Community Development Agency is developing the adminis- trative procedures for STRs, which will be presented to the Board of Supervisors in July. I look forward to talking with our community about STRs in the coming months, and we will keep our website updated with information.
