Effectiveness of the progress tracking process
are actively assisted by the Group when returning to work. These work models are continuously available to employees and are flexibly tailored to their individual needs.
The effectiveness of these actions is un- derscored by the high participation rate in the last global employee survey conducted in 2025 (83%) and the improvements in all aspects surveyed. This positive develop- ment confirms the impact of this structured tracking process as well as the growing trust among employees that they are being liste- ned to and involved. The Zumtobel Group remains committed to this cycle of continu- ous improvement and ensures that feedback from its own workforce continues to shape and improve the working environment.
This applies both to the 2025/26 financial year retrospectively and going forward.
Employee survey
The Zumtobel Group’s Global Employee Survey serves as a key tool for collecting employee feedback and measuring em- ployee satisfaction, and for identifying measures to improve working conditions. The survey is conducted every two years at all sites and organisational levels within the Zumtobel Group. Last conducted in April 2025, the survey is based on the findings from the global employee survey, which was carried out in 2023. The next full employee survey is scheduled for 2027. To ensure long-term impacts, accountability and measurable progress, all improvement measures have been systematically tracked using an action tracker tool. This tool enabled structured tracking of employee feedback and provided full transparency on the implementation sta- tus of the agreed actions. It is important that the status and progress of the action tracker is reported to the Management Board and also the Supervisory Board so that any open questions are continuously monitored and addressed at the highest level of the Group. This coordination ensures that employees’ concerns are actively pursued and that im- provement actions remain a clear strategic priority. In addition, the actions were con- tinuously communicated on the Zumtobel Group’s Intranet platform LightLink, which has promoted transparency and engage- ment throughout the organisation.
Targets related to working conditions for the Group’s own workforce [S1-5]
S1-5, T1 | Maintaining employee satisfaction: This target is measured using the enga- gement scores from the global employee survey, which is conducted every two years. The target group is the Group’s entire global workforce. The aim is to maintain a score of 72 out of 100 based on the employee survey for the 2024/25 financial year. In light of challenging economic conditions and orga- nisational changes, the current focus is on maintaining employee satisfaction at its cur- rent level while ensuring consistently high engagement across the global workforce.
Targets achieved in 2025/26:
As this is an ongoing target, its achievement can only be evaluated based on the results of the next global employee survey, schedu- led for 2026/27.
