DISCUSSIONS withDr. S miim I H. Sitherland/Dr. Charles L Fdaberg of the unrighteous dead. At the end of the millennium, they will appear before the judgment seat of God and receive the eternal condemnation for their evil. Reve lation 20:11-15 gives us a clear picture of these events. Q, San Francisco, Calif. — “A fter the resurrection of our Lord from the tomb and before He ascended into heaven, the Scriptures say that He appeared to many during those i0 days. What type of gar ment do you think He was wear ing?" A. Note this in I Corinthians 15: 6. Scripture is absolutely silent on what His garb might have been. We know He had His resurrection body. Perhaps He was clothed with a garment of light. He had all power and could wear anything He might desire. Q. Long Beach, Calif. — “What re mains to be fulfilled, outside of the completion of the body of Christ, before the Lord returns for His church? Will apostasy completely engulf the world in this dispensa tion?" A. We do not believe there is one single prophecy yet to be fulfilled. As one minister stated, “There is nothing left but the shout.” There is a very real sense in which the world is already engulfed in apos tasy. In the last days of the 19

Q. San Jose, Calif. —- “Who was raised from the dead at the time of the crucifixion of Christ? Do you think that one of them might have been David? I f so, how could the Bible tell us in the words of those that day that David’s tomb was with them till that moment?" A. David, was taken, along with a multitude of captivity cap tive (Eph. 4:8) from Paradise, the abode of the righteous dead, into the presence of Christ in heaven. The body of David had been laid away in the tomb. The bones may still have been there, but his spirit had been with other saints in Abraham’s bosom. In Matthew we read that at the time of the cru cifixion of our Lord a number of the Old Testament saints were physically raised. Scripture makes it very plain that they did not appear until a f te r Christ was raised. Otherwise I Corinthians 15:20 wouldn’t apply for He is the first fruits. No one really knows who these s a in ts were. They, of course, died again, just as was true with Lazarus. Q. Everett, Wash. — “A fter believ ers have been raised from the grave what happens to unbeliev ers? Do they remain in the grave or are they on this earth with Christ a thousand years?" A. Their bodies remain in the grave and their souls in the abode
