Se taire pour les enfants sans voix
Quelque 200 élèves et leurs enseignantes du collège Bourget ont vécu une journée entière de silence, le 18 avril. Toute la journée, ils ont porté un brassard noir sur lequel le mot «si- lence» était inscrit et, afin de dénoncer les situations d’injustice vécues par les enfants à travers le monde, ils ont gardé le si- lence. Les élèves de l’École élémentaire catholique Paul VI à Hawkesbury ont remis un certificat de courage aux résidents de la PlaceMont-Roc via l’enseignante de 6 e année, Anne Leblanc-Poirier. L’an dernier, leur école avait reçu un montant d’argent de la communauté pour l’achat de tableaux interactifs et les élèves ont voulu donner au suivant.
