Esko Launches Flagship Flexo Technology Center
Everything gets dirty.
Esko, a global supplier of integrated hardware and software solutions for the print and packaging sectors, has launched a new Flexo Technology Center at its North American headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio. The center features end-to-end Esko solutions for packaging prepress and printing, from its CDI Crystal XPS 4835 imager and exposure unit to the Kongsberg X24 Edge for plate cutting. The workflow demonstration also includes all the latest Esko prepress innovations and the complete updated suite of software products. Customers are now able to book a visit to the center and experi- ence — either in person or virtually — demonstra- tions of Esko flexo solutions first-hand, interacting with Esko experts. Exposure System The centerpiece of the Flexo Technology Center is the new CDI Crystal XPS 4835, which combines the CDI Crystal and XPS LED exposure system into a com- pletely automated solution. The launch of the new Esko Flexo Technology Cen- ter follows the recent release of Esko WebCenter 20.0, the next generation of the company’s secure web-based packaging management and collaboration platform. Essential Toolkit In other news, Esko is responding to the latest retail- ing trends by launching the Essential Toolkit for Re- tailers: from Consumer Insights to Product Launches , a free online resource that outlines how retailers can improve packaging and marketing asset management to target consumers through an integrated omnichan- nel marketing strategy. Esko, which provides a collaborative content cre- ation platform for packaging, labels and marketing collateral, acknowledges that ‘e-sales will explode’ this holiday season, putting retailers’ online strategies to the test, according to Forbes. “What we’re taking from these trends is that retailers, and the brands that supply them, need to act with su- preme agility to cater to evolving consumerism,” said Matthew Haws, Global Marketing Director at Esko | Brand Solutions. “The need for reactivity is not going away any time soon. This will be a theme into Spring 2021, and perhaps beyond.Adopting effective technol- ogy will not only plug the gaps now but it will also future proof the packaging, label and marketing col- lateral creation process against this level of disruption for future retail generations,”
