Registration Open For All In Print China
Exhibitor applications for All in Print China 2018, 7th China International Exhibition for All Printing Technology & Equipment, are now available. The event will be held from October 24- 28, 2018, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).The show is organized by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the Printing Technology Associa- tion of China and the China Academy of Printing Technology. The show will occupy 9 halls and more than 1 mil- lion square feet of exhibit space. With the topic “Enter the Era of Intelligent Print- ing,” All in Print China 2018 will showcase printing technology innovations, providing a global communi- cation platform for this industry. Exhibit categories will include flexo technology, digital pre-press, com- prehensive printing, post-press converting, packaging equipment, ink and innovative materials, and label ap- plications. A new feature will be the special zone for corrugat- ed paper and flexible packaging.The “Innovation Fac- tory” pavilion, which was originally introduced at the 2016 event, will again be part of All in Print China in 2018, showcasing functional printing, 3D printing, in- telligent factory, green printing and virtual and aug- mented reality technology. Conferences and seminars will complement the exhibits. The last staging of All in Print China in 2016 attract- ed 724 exhibitors — the largest number in the show’s history — from around the world and 76,818 domestic and international visitors, a 24.2 percent in- crease compared to the 2014 event. FPA 2018 Student Packaging Competition Open To Entries The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has opened the 2018 Student Flexible Packaging Design Challenge to entries.The Design Challenge is now in its 14th year. The Challenge for students is to develop a flexi- ble package solution that addresses a packaging issue, such as consumer convenience or the protec- tion of food. The package should advance the use of flexible packaging; make an improvement over an existing flexible package; convert a non-flexible package into a flexible package; package a new product or pack- age a product that is not currently available in flexi- ble packaging. The deadline to submit a concept outline is September 15.
