Whether you prefer a quiet night out or a rambunctious party, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the holidays! Below are just three local ways to party this holiday season.
Wine and Chocolate Festival When: Dec. 13–15 Where: Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards, Clermont Admission: Begins at $10
Are the kids driving you crazy during their winter break? Bring them to Gymnastics USA for the annual Christmas Spectacular, featuring live music, games, face painting, raffles, and prizes. Release some energy on the zip lines, on bungee jumps, and at the open gym. Stop in for some lunch, and do some shopping at the vendor booths. The Lights 2020 When: Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. Where: Little Everglades Ranch, Dade City Admission: $15–$25; children 4 and under are free This event may take a bit of a drive, but the views are worth it. Enjoy food, dancing, and music at Little Everglades Ranch to welcome in the new year. But instead of ending the evening with traditional fireworks, start 2020 on a “bright” note with the lantern launch. The price of adult admission includes one lantern. Is there any better pairing than chocolate and wine? Celebrate this luxurious combination at the 2019 Wine and Chocolate Festival. Enjoy delicious creations from local chocolatiers and pair them with the perfect wine pairing. The best part is this sweet treat is completely guilt-free! A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. In addition, local artists will be selling their crafts, and once you finish shopping and delighting your sweet tooth, you can settle into a concert at the winery’s outdoor stage.
