Mission: 2804CC Run rolls out on the street May 26 to tour around the village and throughout the neighbouring Prescott-Rus- sell region. The event attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Eastern Ontario and Western Québec and is a key revenue- generator for Casselman’s 2804 Royal Can- adian Army Cadet Corps. “Mission: 2804CC Run accounts for over 50 per cent of our operating budget,” stated Captain Pierre Dupuis, company CO, in a press release. “Money used to enhance the current cadet training and pay bills not sup- ported by the Department of National De- fence.” Last year’s motorcycle rally event raised more than $8000 for the local youth group. The money supported cadet programs in- cluding biathlon training and practice, air rifle marksmanship, music, and orienteer- ing and helped several local cadets, like Samuel Perron, advance to the provincial championships in biathlon and air rifle marksmanship. “To win, we need space to train,” Cadet Perron stated, about his success at the prov-
