H ospice of Texarkana, Inc. has served the only nonprofit hospice in the Texarkana area, the organization supports patients and families through skilled nursing, medical equipment, medications, grief counseling, volunteer assistance, and spiritual care. In 2016, Hospice of Texarkana opened its state-of- the-art Care Center, the only freestanding inpatient hospice facility within a 75-mile radius. The center provides short-term symptom management and respite care, giving patients access to specialized support in a peaceful, comforting environment. region for four decades as a leading nonprofit provider of expert end-of-life care. As the Founded in 1985 with a grant from the Junior League of Texarkana, Hospice of Texarkana remains rooted in its mission to serve every patient and family with compassion and dignity. Under the leadership of new CEO, Greg Wood, its highly trained team will continue building upon decades of trusted service while guiding the organization into its next chapter of compassionate care.
