Nouvelle politique pour l’Hôpital

CLASSIFIED ADS PETITES ANNONCES DEADLINE: FRIDAY — 3 P.M.

14-year-old youth charged with assault A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 29 and charged with assault. It is alleged that on June 28, she engaged in a verbal argument with her mother, in their residence, in the presence of her aunt. The argument escalated to the point where the youth kicked her mother in the stomach, pushed her aunt, and then made her way out of the residence. The incident continued outside, a short distance away from the residence, where the youth pushed both her mother and her aunt, then left the area. The youth was located the next day and arrested. She was charged with two counts of assault. She was released to appear in court on August 13. The victims did not sustain any injuries as a result of the assaults. The youth’s name is not being released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act. – Francis Racine Wearing a lifejacket could save your life The Canadian Safe Boating Council (CSBC) and the Ontario Conservation Officers Association (OCOA) want to remind anglers that wearing a lifejacket is extremely important. According to the CSBC, 80 per cent of recreational boaters who drown each and every year in Canada were not wearing a lifejacket or Personal Floatation Device. Most of these drownings occur in small, open power boats, accounting for 60 per cent of these preventable deaths. A majority of these victims were males between the ages of 19 and 35, out for a day of fishing. – Francis Racine INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN Ivaco Rolling Mills, a major steel manufacturer in the Hawkesbury, Ontario region, is seeking a certified Industrial Electrician with 3 to 5 years experience, to fill a vacancy in the Maintenance Department.
