Bethlehem PA - CREW Lehigh Valley kicked off the new year with a tour of an innovative adaptive reuse project shared by Moravian College and St. Luke’s Health Network. About two years ago Moravian College President Bryon Grigsby went to the 24/7 Fitness Center at 1441 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem for his typical workout-and found it closed and locked up. That personal inconvenience became an educational opportunity when Moravian College formed a strategic alliance with St. Luke’s Health Network. new space created by extending a mezzanine level above the full length of the first floor area formerly occupied by racquet courts. The two-year Master of Science program in Athletic Training was first offered in the summer of 2016; the state-of-the-art facilities are designed to accommodate 44 students. CREW LV thanks Amber Donato, Assistant Director of Planning and Program Management in the Moravian Facilities Management Department for coordinating tour and luncheon details.
