Shell Point Life Magazine

Shell Point residents celebrated the nation’s 250th birthday together this summer, attending special Academy classes, splashing at a patriotic pool party, competing in a cornhole tournament, and getting in their steps during a color walk bursting with red, white, and blue. On Independence Day, the annual Golf Cart and Classic Car Parade rolled through The Island and Palm Acres, to Waterside, Coastal Links, and The Woodlands, followed by a barbecue picnic lunch at Palm Grill. A patriotic concert at The Village Church was capped off with a slice of apple pie. Together, the festivities marked a milestone in American history, while reflecting the sense of belonging that makes Shell Point feel like home. AMERICA 250
