Friday, November 6 – Thursday, December 31 HIGH FIVE! Celebrating the Tribby’s First Five Years The Shell Point Gallery

Tribby Arts Center’s exhibitions program opened with the Sparkle! series of displays in 2021. Since then, Tribby exhibitions have continued to win praise and shatter stereotypes regarding the creative power of the older artist. In this eagerly anticipated, annual juried and judged exhibition, Shell Point artists and writers salute the Tribby’s first five years by referencing “five” in their entries, which will include artworks in all mediums. The exhibition is expected to include works that are artistically excellent—and often surprising. Saturday, November 7 | 2 p.m. Jurors’ Roundtable & Awards Event Connie Brown Hall In this on-stage conversation led by Tribby Visual Arts Manager Philip Heubeck, High Five! jurors and judges Jim Brock, Professor Emeritus of English, Anica Sturdivant, assistant curator, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Megan Kissinger, artist, conservator, and exhibit designer from Edison and Ford Winter Estates, share their thoughts about the works entered into the exhibition competition and the attributes that guided their decisions. The event will include announcement of the works selected to win awards. A reception will follow in the Atrium of Connie Brown Hall. The program and reception are free, but registration is required on Wellzesta.
