Presented in Partnership with “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society

The Shell Point, Legacy, Overlook, and Corridor 2 Galleries Sponsored by Carol and Bobby Mann REVIVE! will fill all main galleries of Tribby Arts Center with dramatic wearable art created from discarded materials. Following in the footsteps of the highly popular Castoffs to Couture exhibition of 2022, Revive! challenged the best minds working in creative reuse throughout Southwest Florida, with $10,000 in prize monies serving as incentive. Debuting in a November luncheon and fashion show in Sanibel and subsequent display in the “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge Visitor’s Center, more than 30 elaborate fashions will be in the Tribby display. The Tribby showing also will include video of the fashion show in which the artists modeled their creations. In addition, the Tribby installation will be enhanced with repurposed gift boxes and a large work created from repurposed materials, “J” Wired, by artist John McCaskill of St. Pete Beach, Florida. Paper-doll fashions by Shell Point resident Judy Kaplan, known for her use of discarded paper to create artworks, will complete the REVIVE! display in Tribby Arts Center.
